I, Gobah, who also shares this blog with my music buddy, Bolu, will mostly be putting things about music since they strike such emotion within me. But more about Gobah. I'm such a dork and actually like the Harry Potter series and can finish the book in like a day. =/ uh i LOVE the clique series and gossip girl. But strictly the books. For some odd reason i refuse to watch the show. Catcher in the Rye and the Glass Castle are some kickass books. And if you're into books you should read. LOVE LOVE movies. My list can go on but here is a couple: Memento, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Donnie Darko, Anything with Denzel Washington, Transformers 1&2, Harry Potter 1-5, 40 year old virgin, Knocked Up, Shaft, Fight Club and White Chicks.

OH MY MOTHERFUCKIN' GOODNESS. i love love love it. this is the type of song that be bumping at the club. oh i thought jeremih would be a one hit wonder but apparently not. album was recently released so imma definitely listen to it and provide my OWN review of the album here so look out for that soon.

what really annoys me more than anything is the fact that this child has the nerves to put that fake ass apology on the internet. now we all know this shit happened in february right? so why do we hear an apology a good five months later? is that making sense to you cause it sure aint making no sense to me. and the fact that he has the nerves to put up that video of him sounding like a news anchor from CNN, uh no sweetheart. humans actually like apologies that are from the heart and are actually sincere. i hope at least when he apologized to rihanna that he was VERY sincere about it because that video was a piece of shit and he should be ashamed that he would even put that shit up on youtube. your career is already ruined and even when all these media outlets and things like that were saying you were a monster. i didnt wanna believe it. you looked to innocent and nice to do that but watching that apology video was pathetic. dont read something of a telepromoter that your publicist probably wrote. c'mon you write some of your songs i think you can write a stinking apology.

alrighty so my friend has come to some speculation about the new Lupe Fiasco album. he currently has a new single with matthew santos called shining down. but back to the new album. its supposed to be called we're not losers, we're lasers. then i hear its supposed to be called lasers. then i hear he is coming out with a trio of albums called LupE.N.D. then i hear that he is not doing that anymore and he is just coming out with three seperate albums and LupE.N.D. would be that last one. now if anyone knows what the fuck is going on let me know cause i'm hella interested.

so it has come to my attention that Kid Cudi aka the love of my life has pused back his album to Sept. 15. like ahhh what the fuck?! i was waiting forever to get it and now i have to wait longer :( but it was probably pushed back for good reasons. at least thats how i'm gonna look at it. it's gonna have some hot collaborations and be popping so keep your eye out on that album.

Ah so I came across this band from the UK. The Noisettes. Two words: fucking amazing ! Like wow dude they're pretty. The lead singer is a black girl from Africa so it gives me hope lolol. Personally, their best song is "scratch your name" but hey, that's just me(:

passion pit did a remix to yeah yeah yeahs song "heads will roll". it's hot. well actually its okay. but i love them both so they can do no wrong in my eyes :) a digital release for itunes for is slated for a release on 7/14.
alright so i was roaming around the internet when i noticed that rye rye has a video for a newly released single "bang bang". you can definitely see the M.I.A. influences in the video.
anjulie is a guyanese-canadian singer who has been writing and performing her own songs since she was a teenager. she hails from a little suburb outside toronto. anjulie got her big break when she accepted a lunch date with adam levine. since then she has released a single called "boom". it reached the top 10 on billboards canadian hot 100 in 2008 and number one in the U.S. dance chart in 2009.
Okay so today I was watching t.v. and a "kidz bop" commercial came on. I was so bored so you know I watched it. OMG! i never hated anything so much in my life. these fucking kidz bops RUIN the song. You know how you have a favorite part of a song because of the vocals? FUCKING RUINED because the kids sound like little nuggets. omgggg. They take clearly good songs and make someone else sing it and sing OVER the singer. it is so obvious that it is not the person in the video singing. like come on.. there are like 10 damn kids just singing. like really?! NO! aghhh this just makes me so angry.

so word on the street is that Kid Cudi is going to be releasing a special edition of his soon to be released album Man on the Moon. The special edition is to include DVD edition and we will also be released on August 25th. Lets hope this is true because I will be the first person on line at the record store trying to get a copy. I'll definitely keep updating this piece of news so keep your eyes open.

yes. the two finest rapppers (and i mean in terms of their rapping skills) , Kanye West and Jay-Z has both released new videos. Kanye has released a new video for his song "Street Lights". Even though its not a single of his latest album 808s & Heartbreak, there is a video released for it anyways. i'm assuming its just "for the art". I actually like the video. Kinda reminds me of Miami Vice LOL. Its made by Javier Longobardo so check it out.
and then there is Jay-Z's new video for his newly released song, "Death of Autotune". The track is hot yo. so definitely check out the video :)
