I'm such a dork and actually like the Harry Potter series and can finish the book in like a day. =/ uh i LOVE the clique series and gossip girl. But strictly the books. For some odd reason i refuse to watch the show. Catcher in the Rye and the Glass Castle are some kickass books. And if you're into books you should read.

well i'm sure you have heard the rumors floating around about sade. well i read several gossip sites and blogs and in fact she is COMING BACK! oh yes sade lovers get hyped. i know i'm a little late with this news but i just forgot about it so here it is now. in honor of her comeback here's is one of my favorite sade songs.

okay i dont know about you but i actually enjoyed the first half of the BET awards. yeah it got a little slow towards the end but doesnt that happen to most award shows? anyways i sit here truly disappointed at the tribute for michael jackson. c'mon BET we could have done a much better job. but hey imma shout out ne-yo cause homeboy did his thing. i will definitely be playing "lady in my life" on repeat for the next couple of days. i even forgot how amazing that song was. ahh i feel michael jackson had to be paid more homage. i was expecting ciara to come out doing some michael jackson type dance moves and chris brown to come out because thats what mediatakeout said but obviously they were lying. hmm it doesn't matter got the michael jackson on repeat anyways. going to six flags tomorrow and ipod is broken :( so i cant get to jam to my kid cudi and michael jackson. hopefully there will be a better tribute to michael jackson.

as i write this blog, i am truly sadden the events that as taken place today. the KING of pop michael jackson was pronounced dead today. my friend called and told me and literally shivers went up my spine. first i was like nahhh i dont believe this. then i asked around and found out it was true. like real talk a tear came to my eye. is this really happening? is he really dead? like c'mon he is so young, just 50 years. oh jesus like i cannot fathom the idea that he is dead. yo like i grew up listening to michael jackson. haha i remember mad dad attempting to teach us the moonwalk. everyday we would jam to michael jackson. and now he is dead. my mom is in serious hysterics. every radio station i turn to i hear michael jackson songs and i just shake my head and go "nah he really isnt dead". GREATNESS. and just like that .. gone. wow my thoughts and prayers definitely go out to his children and his family. i can believe that many true fans are grieving all over the world. i definitely am.

RIP Michael Jackson.

CHRISTINA to the motherfuckin' K. does an amazing job. she puts a hip-hop spin on the techno song, modjo's "lady (hear me tonight)" song is kinda old (only six months or so ..) but check it out cause i said so :)

So I was just pondering upon this song called "Ain't no rest for the wicked" by Cage the Elephant. I really like the lyrics because it talks about how money basically rules the world lol. For example: "Oh, there ain't no rest for the wicked,
Money don't grow on trees.
I got bills to pay,
I got mouths to feed,
There ain't nothing in this world for free."

I mean come on, we can all relate to that, unless you're filthy rich. Which reminds me, if you are filthy rich, HOLLER AT ME. Can I get an amen?! lolol. Also, the song mentions three scenarios to further explain the message: a prostitute, a robber, and a preacher. The prostitute does what she does because she needs money in order to survive. The robber asks for money but not the person's life. This shows that he just wants some fucking money in order to keep it moving! The preacher takes money from the church and he gets arrested. This song is pretty fucking clever because the narrator, or whatever, asks all these people why they do what they do and they all say the same thing, the chorus. So um I guess what I'm trying to say is that I felt like I could relate to this song. I may not be a preacher, robber, or prostitute (lmao) but I do need some damn money! SO uh check the song out(:

oh so i was driving you know listening to the radio cause thats all there was to listen too and like what the hell and there is that annoying as fuck song by pitbull playing on heavy rotation. like AHHH that song irritates that fuck outta me "uno, dos, tres, quatro". like i know how to count thank you very much. and while we are discussing horrible music, i gotta talk about the lack of originality these days. "hush" by pussycat dolls and "goodbye" by kristina debarge. like c'mon we can sample beats but jacking the whole song? ahhh i think its time for me to hit the recording studio :)
